If they are good friends you may be able to use their equipment to see if you like it before you go out and buy it. Some of the best family memories will be made camping, even if things go wrong. Sitting around a campfire at night gives you time to talk to your kids and really get to know what is going on in their lives. And really, it is hard not to be happy eating a s’more.
